This election where Obama is trying to buy votes for Reid is not in no way about Bush! This is a man born in Kenya trying to wreck the constitution and elect cronnies who care nothing about this country but instead are only trying to put money in their pockets at the expense of our children and grand children! VOTE ALL DEMOCRATS OUT OF OFFICE, THEY ARE ALL RUBBER STAMPS FOR THE SORRY OBAMA!

How is OBAMA's spending of $1.5 BILLION - that was suppose to be EMERGENCY STIMULUS MONEY - to [try to] get Reid re-elected Bush's fault?????

My Heavens! Do you blame a flat tire, rainy day, your goldish dying on Bush?!?!

Oh, it is all about money if you squint hard enough, but your comments are purely political, not fiscal in nature. Your picking and choosing is predictable political rubbish, and quite frankly, it would be nice to see you rise above it, and get back to helping people with their finances.

But let me comment on the issue, is the money being spent in Nevada a waste of taxpayers money, at first blush, I would have to say that it appears to be. However, the two wars created by the preceding administration continues to drag on our economy by a more significant number. But every time anyone mentions that fiasco, the political right comes out screaming, "patriotism" in lieu of "fiscal responsibility".

Should we dump money into Nevada just because the Right screwed up two wars? No, but fiscal conversations need a wider base for discussion where political point of views are immaterial. In this case, heck in all cases on this site, your political leanings are very clear and more often than not tend to create outlandish blog entries like this last one, where we see more sound bites than any fiscal reasoning.

Peace.

I hate it when this blog becomes focused on politics instead of finance. Or in this case, keep pointing out issue but provide nothing substantive insofar as helping to correct the issues we are facing. I can't stand harry reid, but the idiot set to replace him is even worse. term limits and stringent anti corruption laws/enforcement are long overdue imho.

Does anyone still wonder by only 25% of the must-have-NOW "stimulus" money was only spent so far?

Can you say "re-election slush fund"?

This is just another example of the never ending election cycle and the corruption it breeds. Thank you for helping to bring this to light.
