Blog Updates and Carnivals
I have spent many hours this weekend on the nuts and bolts part of blogging, e.g., upgrading the software that operates both Tough Money Love and my Go To Retirement blog. I did this primarily for security reasons, as there are lots of folks out there who are actively trying to hack WordPress blog sites. Some of my fellow bloggers are experiencing this now.
In addition, I am implementing a substantial re-design of Tough Money Love in an attempt to make it more reader friendly. Some of it has been completed but I have more to do. The “theme” I am now using will also save me a lot of time so that I can focus more on research and writing.
If you have any comments about aspects of the new design that you particularly like or dislike, please let me know in a comment or email. You will notice that a lot more of my writing can be accessed directly from the front page. The trade-off is that my most current article does not appear on the front page. You have to click the “Recent Posts” page to see it. I am trying to decide if I need to change that and, if so, how to best do it. Most regular readers receive updates by RSS feed or email and this change will not affect that in any way.
This is my first major update since I began blogging last July. Thanks for being patient with these changes and for being a reader.
This week my writing appeared in the following carnivals:
I hope you enjoy some of the articles in these carnivals.
