		<description>I love too how these politicans (all Democrats) ignored the Bush driven- McCain/ Kyl endorsed plea two years ago to ADDRESS the upcoming Mortgage meltdown that was apparent - 26 members signed it - and yet the Babbling Maxine W. is on record saying Freddie and Fannie are fine - we have gone over the books are we are in good shape- HA! you can see tapes online- why isn;t this getting prime tiME COVERAGE ? bONUSES THAT rAINES AND ALL TOOK - PRICELESS - I MEAN PRICEY !!! LIES DECEPT AND CORRUPT SCONDRELS Can you tell i work in the Realty Industry - it is such a travesty -- and it could have been avoided  Even now they are making Modifications way too difficult - WHO HAS THE CURRENT VALUE OF THERE HOME WHEN VALUES HAVE GONE DOWN 30-40% in  many neighborhoods  ? Why don&#039;t they broaden it across the board - offer lower rates - and keep people in there homes - they now by now how $$$costy Foreclosure is -------this is the Worst Recessionary period ever and it ain&#039;t getting better for awhile - Not with the current &quot;powers&quot; that be----Sad- thanks for a good article- Raines retired - before ____ could hit the fan- now Pelosi-Waters and Mr. Barney need to do the same !!!!!!!</description>

What the folks on Capitol Hill cannot seem to come to grips with is that there are thousands of people who became homeowners as the result of forcibly relaxed lending standards that simply are not prepared to be homeowners.  They do not need to jury-rig loans to keep these people in the system.</description>

I know it would cost a fortune, but I truly believe that at some point a massive mortgage adjustment process is going to have to happen. Not only for people who are in trouble but for everyone.</description>
